What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

This is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
